Raymond Edward Plunkett Jr

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Raymond Edward Plunkett Jr., who left this world on June 10, 2026, at the age of 66. Born on December 19, 1959, Raymond was a respected member of the community and dedicated his life to service, notably as a Master at Arms Chief in the United States Navy, where he proudly served his country.

Raymond's life was defined by his unwavering love for his family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Rosario Plunkett, and their children: Liezl Nicholas (Daniel) of Rocklin, CA, Joshua Plunkett (Cari) of Ludington, MI, and Arnel Plunkett of Dixie, GA. He is also survived by his cherished siblings, Cathy Patrick (Tim) of Indiana and Christine Korn (Greg) of Virginia, as well as brother-in-law Rob Wiltsey of Texas, numerous nieces and nephews, and four adored grandchildren: Roman, Bennett, Arielle, and Jeremy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Edith Plunkett, and his sister, Teri Wiltsey.

An avid lover of fishing, shooting, and all animals-especially dogs-Raymond was a man of many passions. He was deeply involved with St. Augustine Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus, where he forged lasting friendships. Additionally, he had a great appreciation for law enforcement, having served proudly as a police officer.

Services in remembrance of Raymond will be held on Monday, June 15, 2026, at 11 AM at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
