Reba Johnson Hanson

Services for Reba Johnson Hanson, 94, of Thomasville, will be 3:00 pm, Saturday, March 17, 2007 at Red Hill United Methodist Church in Guntersville, AL, with the Rev. Joe Stephenson officiating. Mrs. Hanson died March 14, 2007 at Archbold Hospital. Born June 7, 1912, in Marshall Co. AL., she was the daughter of the late O. Datus & Lela Alberta Brookshire Johnson. She was married to James Alvin Hanson, Sr. who precedes her in death. She was a homemaker and attended First Baptist Church. She is survived by daughter, Louise Hanson Davis and grandson, L. Nick Davis of Thomasville, brother, O. David Johnson, of Guntersville, AL. 14 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren. A son, James Alvin Hanson, Jr., preceded her in death. The family will receive friends at the church from 1-3 pm before the service. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to Red Hill United Methodist Church, 449 Warrenton Shores Dr, Guntersville, AL, 35976.
