Services for Rebecca Nell Jenkins Leach, of Thomasville are at 11:00AM on Wednesday, December 18, 2002 at First Presbyterian Church where she was a member. Rev. Dr. William P. Seel will officiate with interment in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Leach died December 15, 2002 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born January 24, 1921 in Thomasville she was the daughter of the late James Harvey & Harriet Essie Wheeler Jenkins. She was married to the late Franklin Boone Leach. She was the founder and director for the First Presbyterian Church Pre-School. She was very active in the Jr. Womens Club & the Womens Club of Thomasville and also very active at the First Presbyterian Church. Survivors include daughter & son-in-law, Carolyn Rebecca Leach Roche & Fred of Tallahassee, Fl., son & daughter-in-law, Franklin Boone Leach, Jr., & Amy of Eastman, GA; brothers & sisters-in-law, Vance Wheeler Jenkins & Genneva of Thomasville, Ira Buddy Jenkins & Jean of Lakeland, Fl., sisters-in-law, Betty Leach Alexander of Asheville, NC. and Edna Jenkins of Tallahassee, Fl.,; grandchildren, Carolyn Elizabeth Knight Boster & James Paul Boster, Brandon Bryant, Adam Bryant and Tyler Bryant, great grandchildren, Megan Elizabeth Boster and Michael Thomas Boster. Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, 225 E. Jackson Street, Thomasville,Ga 31792. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7-9PM of Tuesday.
