Services for Rebecca Lou Sherrod Vinson, 66 of Coolidge will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Dallas Howard will officiate and interment will follow at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Vinson passed away August 24, 2014 at her residence. Born January 6, 1948 in Barwick, she is the daughter of the late Dallas Sherrod and Rose Yearty Sherrod. She is married to James Vinson who survives. Mrs. Vinson was retired from Southwestern State Hospital. Other survivors include her daughters, Sherri Spires of Thomasville, Cindy Pleva of Foster City, CA, and Samantha Anderson Walker of Tifton; sisters, Marjorie Carlton, Martha Howard and Mary Brent all of Coolidge; grandchildren, Justin Johnson, Raegin Walker, and Duncan Walker and great grandson, Cannon Johnson.
