Services for Rev. Okey Oswald Peacoe, 80, of Thomasville, are at 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 5, 2008 at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Paul Warrack will officiate and interment is in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Mr. Peacoe died December 1 at Crisp Regional Hospital in Cordele. Born March 5, 1928, in White Sulfur Springs, WV, he was the son of the late Harry and Grace Wikle Peacoe. In 1961, in Folkston, he married Dorothy Bridges Peacoe, who survives. He was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church and Sunshine Ministry Conference. Survivors include children, Karen Smith and husband, Jack of Thomasville, Timothy Peacoe and wife, Donna of Thomasville, Christina Jordan and husband, Billy of Thomasville, Okey Peacoe, Jr. of St. Petersburg, Fla. and Donald Peacoe of St. Petersburg, Fla.; grandchildren, Chester Branton, David Branton, Lisa Peacoe, Sabrina Curtis, Matthew Peacoe and Robbie Joiner; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Rachel Weatherholts, Ruth Rothrock, Mary McLintock, Iris Peacoe, Ann Lee Riley; brothers, Jackie Peacoe, Charles Peacoe and David Peacoe. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandy Griswald; sister, Louise Peacoe; brothers, George Peacoe and Donald Peacoe.
