Rhonda Kay Carter

Rhonda Kay Carter, aged 69, of Ochlocknee, Georgia, will be remembered fondly following her passing on April 20, 2026. Born on August 19, 1956, to the late George Bass and Joan Faye Bass, who survives her, Rhonda lived a life rich in love for her family.

Rhonda enjoyed cooking, decorating her home, shopping, and most importantly, spending time with her loved ones. Her nurturing spirit will be dearly missed by those who knew her.

Rhonda is survived by her mother, Joan Faye Bass; her children, Jennifer Kirkland of Cairo and Joseph Willis (Ozanne) of Coolidge; her grandchildren, Landon Norris, Tyler Kirkland, Vivianna Esquival, Victoria Clark, and Veronica Cortez; great-grandchildren, Ava Rose, Aubree, and Hayes; as well as her siblings, Mike Bass and Ken Bass of Thomasville. Rhonda was preceded in death by her father, her husband, Danny Carter, and her siblings, Lynn Bacon and Gary Bass.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 11 AM at Laurel Hill Cemetery with David Cook officiating. A visitation will take place on Friday, April 24, 2026, from 5 PM to 7 PM at Allen and Allen Funeral Home. Rhonda's memory will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends, and she will be missed dearly.
