Richard Calvin Spurlock

Services for Richard Calvin Spurlock, 55, of Thomasville are at 2:00PM on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at Dawson Street Baptist Church. Dr. Jimmy Clanton and the Rev. Lee Waller will officiate and interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Mr. Spurlock died June 22, 2012 at his residence. Born January 11, 1957 in Cuthbert, GA he was the son of late Robert Damon and Laura Taliaferro Spurlock. He was married to Deborah Ann Hutchinson Spurlock who survives. Mr. Spurlock was a veteran of the United States Army and was a retired phone company cable splicer. He was a member of the Thomasville Masonic Lodge #369. Other survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Jason and Jessica Spurlock of Tallahassee, FL, Brad and Haley Lewis of Thomasville, grandchild, Arianna Spurlock and another grandchild due in January, sisters and brothers-in-law, Brenda and Ronnie Ingram, Sue and Allen Ingram all of Iron City, GA, brother and sister-in-law, Dwight and Robin Spurlock of Arlington, GA, sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Julie and Jeff Mims of Thomasville, GA, Teresa and Howard Gainey of Macon, GA, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Robbie and Michelle Hutchinson, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bobby and Karen Hutchinson all of Thomasville and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter Laura Jean Spurlock. The family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM on Monday at Allen & Allen Funeral Home.
