Richard Carver

Richard Dewayne Carver, 47 of Thomasville, passed away on December 17, 2025. He was born on June 17, 1978, in Thomasville. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at 2:00 pm at Allen & Allen Funeral Home.

Richard will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family. He had a deep love for animals, and his compassion for others was evident in his eagerness to help anyone in need. Known for his friendliness, Richard never met a stranger; he had a unique ability to brighten the lives of those around him.

A strong and faithful Christian, Richard derived immense joy from his faith and cherished the holiday season, taking great delight in decorating for Christmas with warmth and enthusiasm. He recognized the importance of connection and community, enjoying working out and meeting new people throughout his life.

Survivors include his mother, Shirley Ann Law; father, Elton Richard Carver and step-mother Diane Carver; sisters, Terri and Andy Hurley of Enterprise, AL, Donna and Rodney Andreasen of Marianna, FL, and Tamara and Joel Norris of Camilla, followed by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Richard is preceded in death by his sister Kimberly Kay Carver, step-dad Terry Law, grandparents Mr. & Mrs. Elton Richard Carver, and grandmother Louetta Benton.

Richard Dewayne Carver will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him.
