Richard Earl Fykes of Thomasville passed away on Tuesday December 31, 2024 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born on May 23, 1953 in Thomasville, he was the son of the late Cartha Cordele Fykes and Myrtice Shealey Fykes. Mr. Fykes was a graduate of Thomasville High School and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and cheering for the University of Georgia football team. He is survived by his son Chris Fykes of Valdosta; brother Charles Fykes and sister Diane Brown.
His family will hold a private service to honor his memory.
