Richard (Dick) F. Kaley Sr., 84, of Thomasville GA, passed away suddenly on December 31, 2022
Dick was born on August 10, 1938 to Wilbur and Flora Kaley in Pinson Alabama. Dick attended Woodlawn High School, where he was a member of the Warblers Club and Senior Class President, He then Attended the University of Alabama and was a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity.
Dick is survived and missed by his loving wife, whom he affectionately referred to as his Sweetheart, Darlone Bailey Kaley; and his children, Karen (Jim), Richard (Elishia), Matthew (Ginger), Step-son John (Julie). Forever cherished and remembered by his grandchildren, Kaley (Daniel), Brittany (Zak), Alex (Paige), Tyler, Austin (Kim), Zack, Matthew, Trey (Marya), Hattie and Henry and 15 Great grandchildren.
Dick was predeceased by his parents Wilbur and Flora E. Kaley, and a grandson Christopher H. Kaley.
Dick spent many years as a real estate agent and was very active in The Church of Christ. He was also very passionate about Alabama sports especially football.
Services will be held at Fellowship Church of Christ, 68 Patterson Still Road, Thomasville GA on January 7 at 3:00. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Miss Kitty’s Feline Sanctuary in Thomasville GA, an organization Dick felt strongly about.
