Richard L. Goodspeed
Richard L. Goodspeed, 72, of Thomasville, passed away Monday, September 21, 2009 at Heritage Healthcare of Moultrie. Born, March 29, 1937, in Fitchburg, Mass., he was the son of the late Raymond L. and Marie Olivier Goodspeed. On May 11, 1963, in Portland, Oregon, he married Samantha Lloyd Goodspeed, who survives. Mr. Goodspeed is a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was retired from the auto industry, but was employed with Wal-Mart for the last 14 years. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Richard Mark and Dawn McCorkle Goodspeed; granddaughters, Jordan Kiley Goodspeed and Kelsey Ashton Goodspeed all of Boynton Beach, Fla. Private memorial services will be held at a later date. The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. ? 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home on Friday.
