Oh dear, if you're reading this right now,
I must have given up the ghost.
I hope you can forgive me for being
Such a stiff and unwelcoming host.
Just talk amongst yourself my friends,
And share a toast or two.
For I am sure you will remember well
How I loved to drink with you.
Don't worry about mourning me,
I was never easy to offend.
Feel free to share a story at my expense
And we'll have a good laugh at the end.

Richard "Ricky" Sanders, 69, of Thomasville, passed away peacefully at home on October 25, 2023, after losing his short battle with glioblastoma. He was born on February 5, 1954, in Thomasville, Georgia to the late James "Earl" and Dorothy "Dot" Sanders. He is survived by his loving wife and soulmate, Vickie, his sister-in-laws and their spouses, nephews, and several cousins. A private graveside service will be held at a later date. "Rest easy my love..."
