Ricky DaCosta, 60, of Thomasville, Ga., passed away on January 19, 2024. He was born on November 14, 1963 in New York.
Ricky was a loving father, grandfather, and a skilled mechanic. He took pride in his work and was known for his dedication and expertise in his profession.
Ricky is survived by his children, Ricky Hasty, Samantha DaCosta, and Tyler DaCosta, as well as grandchildren Amerys Lewis, Logan Hasty, Cameron Whiddon, Ayries Lewis and Kassyus Guzman. He is also survived by his sisters, Mildred DaCosta and Milagros Oliver. Ricky was preceded in death by his mother, Rosalina DaCosta, his daughter, Brittany Hasty, and his brother Jose DaCosta.
A visitation service to pay respects will be held on Friday, January 26, from 5-7 pm at the Allen & Allen Funeral Home Celebration of Life Chapel.
Ricky DaCosta will be remembered for his passion for mechanics and his devotion to his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
