Services for Robert Willis Hutcherson, 67, of Thomasville are 10:00 am, Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at Dawson Street Baptist Church, where he was a member. Steve Clawson will officiate and interment will be a Meridian, Miss. Mr. Hutcherson passed away on December 26, 2011 in Thomasville, GA. He was born February 17, 1944 in Meridian, Miss. He served as Pastor of 2nd Ponce De Leon of Atlanta and Indian Creek Baptist Church of Mableton, GA. He was also the Chaplain of the Atlanta Police Department for many years and served as Chaplain and Counselor in Baptist Village of Waycross. Survivors include his wife Marie Taylor Croy Hutcherson of Thomasville; daughters, Kim Hutcherson and Kristin Hutcherson of Washington DC; stepson, Rickie Croy and wife Sandi of Kinglands, GA;, stepdaughter, Tammy Henley and husband Mark of Thomasville; grandchildren, Elena Hutcherson; step-grandchildren, Taylor Willoughby and husband Matt, Erin Henley, Jodi Henley, and Jonathon Croy. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, P O Box 1999, Thomasville, GA 31799 or to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, 322 Eighth Ave., 7th Floor, New York, New York 10001.
