Robert Doyle Myers

Funeral services for Robert Doyle Myers of Thomasville will be held at 11:00AM Tuesday, December 16, 2003 at Boston Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Don West will officiate and interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chad Wooten, Alan Wooten, Tyler Wooten, Bill Myers, Chris Brock and Mark Tanner. Born Dec 4, 1946 he was a son of the later John T. Myers and Margaret Lawhorne Myers Wooten. He was a graduate of the University of Georgia and a systems analyst for Flowers. Mr. Myers was a member of the Boston Presbyterian Church where he was a deacon and treasurer for 20 years. He is survived by his brother, William Reid Myers and wife, Thelma of St. Augustine, Fl; his fiance Sandra Cash of Atlanta; step brother, Steve Wooten and wife Sharon of Cairo; and a step brother, Tony and wife Cindy Wooten of Boston; and a step father, Henry Wooten of Boston; Nieces and nephews, Bill Myers, Tyler and Toni Lynn Wooten, Alan Wooten, Chad Wooten, Jennifer Brock, and Tara Jones. In leui of flowers contributions may be made the Boston Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7:00-9:00PM Monday.
