Services for Robert Edward King, 69, of Meigs, are at 2 p.m., Saturday, April 18, 2009, at Zion Grove Assembly of God. Rev. Curt McCollough and Rev. Tony Walker will officiate and interment is in Meigs Sunset Cemetery. Mr. King died April 15 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born Feb. 17, 1940, in Charlton, he was the son of the late Lester and Thelma King. He was married to Eva Louise Sutton King for 52 years, who survives. He was a retired general contractor and was also a retired pastor from Hillcrest Holiness Church. Other survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Lisa King of Thomasville and John and Becky King of Brunswick; daughter, Joanna King and fiancée, Charles Angelier of Colquitt County; grandchildren, Michael King and wife, Missy, Tabitha Spear and husband, Todd, Brittany King, Tiffany King, Ashley King, John Michael King, Robyn Williams, Amber King and Jessica Williams; great-grandchildren, Bailey Borden and Karah Borden. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6:00 ? 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Visitors may sign the online guest register at www.allenfh.com .
