Robert Henry Kincaid

Robert Henry Kincaid, 72, passed away unexpectedly on July 16, 2026, in Helen, Georgia. He was born on November 27, 1953, in Washington, D.C., to George Robert and Marinell Bray Kincaid (Knight).

Robert was a 1972 graduate of Thomasville High School and a graduate of Valdosta State University. He proudly served in the U.S. Military and was honorably discharged with the rank of Sergeant (E-5). He enjoyed a long and distinguished career with the FBI, serving as a Supervisory Special Agent in charge of tactical operations. He also served as an instructor at Quantico, teaching electronics and technical skills.

He married the love of his life, Judy, in 1974. They welcomed their only daughter, Meredith, in 1982. Robert and Judy loved traveling together and enjoyed visiting destinations throughout Europe as well as favorite cities across the United States, Puerto Rico, and Mexico.

Robert generously shared his talents with family and friends and was always a willing helper. He enjoyed restoring old vehicles (especially 1960’s-70’s muscle cars) and was an avid golfer.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Judy Dunlap Kincaid; his daughter Meredith Kincaid Dinis (Gary); step-brother Bobby Knight (Carol); siblings Ellen King (Edward) and Sean Knight (Toni); sisters-in-law Janet Williams (Kevin) and Sandy Dunlap Pettengill (Kirk); nieces Melanie King, Jill Kincaid, and Kylee Knight; nephews Charles Kincaid (Lynn), Elliot Kincaid (Maranda), Neil King, and Zachary Knight; his dear friends Wayne Peeples and his wife, Marlene; his brother-in-law and best friend, Kirk; and his beloved French Bulldog, Roxy.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Marinell Bray Knight, his father, George Robert Kincaid, his stepfather, Jack Knight, and his brother, Chuck Kincaid.

Robert will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father, cherished brother and son, and faithful friend. He adored Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

There will be a Celebration of Life service held at a later date and will be located where he resided in Dade City, Florida.
