Robert Lee Cope IIIMr. Robert Lee Cope III passed away May 20, 2007 at his daughter?s home in Boston. Mr. Cope was the son of Margaret Graham Cope and the late Robert L. Cope Jr. After moving to Thomasville with his family Mr. Cope attended and graduated from Thomasville High School. He then attended Valdosta State college and graduated with majors in English and History. He was retired from Southwestern State Hospital. Mr. Cope was a loving man and a great father who loved to fish and hunt. Ones left to cherish his memories are his mother Margaret Graham Cope of Thomasville, a sister and a brother-in-law, Donna Carol Cope and Dr. Cedric W. Porter, Jr. and their son, Joshua Graham Porter all of Asheville, N.C.; daughter, Kimberly Love Cope Carter and husband Raymond Lee Carter, Sr. of Boston, grandchildren Raymond Lee Carter, Jr., Ryan Zachary Carter, Robert Thomas Carter and Kera Kendyl Carter all of Boston. Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 2:00PM at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
