Robert Merle Bottrell

Memorial services for Robert Merle Bottrell of Riverwind Plantation, GA. will be on Tuesday, June 1st at 2pm, at the Dawson St. Baptist Church in Thomasville, Ga. Rev. Lee Waller will officiate. He passed away Thursday May 28, 2004 at Archbold Medical Center. Born on August 22, 1951, Mr. Bottrell was the son of Edgar Jesse and Thelma Regina Elliott Bottrell. On May 22, 1971, in Morris, Il., he married Mary Louise Hiney Bottrell, who survives. Mr. Bottrell is also survived by his daughter and son-in-law Heather Jenee?and Jason Lee Wilson, of Thomasville, GA. A son, Robert Jason Bottrell of Austin, TX. Two grandsons, Drew Jacob Dalton and Lane Matthew Dalton of Thomasville, GA. A sister, Deloris Lorene Stillwell of Seneca, IL, and father-in-law Clyde Richard Hiney of Morris, IL. Mr. Bottrell was an extremely dedicated and loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. Mr. Bottrell was a dedicated member of the Caterpillar management team where he worked for 35 years. Mr. Bottrell, known as Bob, touched many lives with his love, compassion, simplicity, and dedication. Bob was always a family man first, dedicated Caterpillar employee, and never forgot a friend in need. He was always ready to lend a hand and be the first to step up for any task. His variety of knowledge made him the one to call for help whenever anyone needed anything. He will be deeply missed.
