Robert Jones Perkins

Services for Robert “Bob” Jones Perkins will be held on Saturday, March 23rd, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. The internment will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Pastor Ron Jones will officiate the service. Bob passed away on March 20th, 2019 in Thomasville, GA. Born on July 30th, 1942 in Miami, FL, he was the son of the late Thomas and Priscilla Perkins. He was married to Hazel Adams Perkins for 55 years. Robert graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Florida State University. He was a CPA for over 50 years, and he founded the firm Robert J. Perkins CPA for the past 30 years. Bob was a member of Florida Institute CPA’s, Georgia Society of CPA’s, American Institute of CPA’s, and a former member of the Kiwanis Club. He loved playing golf, going camping, and boating. He is survived by his wife, Hazel Perkins; children, Deborah Leigh Nelson (Walter) of Mobile, AL, Robert Jones Perkins, Jr. (Teresa) of Salisbury, MD, John Michael Perkins (Lisa) of Irvin, CA, Brian Thomas Perkins (Nancy) of Bogart, GA; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
