Robert Lee Reichert, a resident of Ochlocknee, GA, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2023, at the age of 70. Born on August 22, 1953, Bob was a beloved father, brother, grandfather and friend to many.
Bob had a strong work ethic and dedicated many years of his life to serving the community as a Water System Operator for the City of Thomasville. He took pride in his work and was known for his skills in fixing both materialistic and life-related challenges.
Outside of work, Bob had a passion for golf and enjoyed spending time with his golf group. He was always up for a round of golf and cherished the camaraderie that came with it. Another one of his great joys in life was cheering on his favorite Georgia sports teams, finding immense joy in their victories and feeling the heartbreak of their losses.
Bob's family meant the world to him, and he cherished the moments spent with them. He is survived by his loving children, daughter Ashley Cone and son Kyle Reichert (Angie). Bob's grandchildren, Emma Reichert, Myles Reichert, Connor Cone, and Camryn Cone, brought him incredible joy, and he adored their company and the mother to his children Pam Reichert. Other survivors include two sisters Kay Kuhlman(Randy) of Dallas, Ga and Frankie Howard of Bainbridge, Ga.
He is preceded in death by his parents A.R. Reichert and Willa Dean Law Reichert and his siblings, brother Tony Reichert and sister Ginnie Lancaster.
A funeral service will be held to honor and celebrate Bob's remarkable life on Tuesday at 2:00 PM at the Allen & Allen Celebration of Life Chapel. Prior to the service, friends and loved ones are invited to pay their respects during the visitation hours at the funeral home on Monday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Bob will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Gardens, where he will find eternal peace.
