Robert Harvard Salter

Funeral services for Robert Harvard Salter, 51, of Thomasville will be 2:00PM on Saturday, January 9, 2015 at First Presbyterian Church of Thomasville, where he was a member. Mr. Salter passed away on January 6, 2016. Born September 6, 1964 in Munich, Germany, he was the son of Ronald H. Salter Sr. and Ruth Harvard Salter, who both survive. Mr. Salter was a graduate of Georgia Southwestern in Americus and was the assistant manager of Prestige Ice Company. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing, as well as music, golf, tennis and running. Mr. Salter was a loving son, father and brother who enjoyed spending time with friends and family. Other survivors include son, Robert Clayton Salter of Thomasville; brother, Ronnie Salter of Thomasville; sister, Rosemary Salter Jackson and husband Dan Jackson of Jacksonville, Florida; nephews Henry Jackson and Wyatt Jackson.
