Services for Robert Troy Ward of Cairo, GA are at 2:00PM on Monday, June 28, 2004 at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Wayne Burdeshaw will officiate and interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mr. Ward died June 26, at his residence. Born February 3, 1945 in Thomasville he was the son of the late John Ward and Mary Taylor Ward who survives. He was married to Patricia Player Ward who preceded him in death in 1991. Mr. Ward was a veteran of the United States Army. Other survivors include daughter Paula Ward Harwood of Cape Coral, FL, sons, R. Dale Ward, Chris Ward both of Ft. Myers, FL, Chris Wert of Thomasville, eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren, sister and brother-in-law, Frances and Mike Bracewell of Cairo, brother, Buddy Ward of Whigham, sisters and brothers-in-law, Darlene and Travis Davis of Ochlocknee, Rosalyn and Terry West of Thomasville, several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
