Robert Mitchell Donaldson Mickey passed away Wednesday August 25, 2004 at his residence. Born December 12, 1954 in Monticello, FL, he was the son of Robert Donaldson and Betty Jo Clark Donaldson. His home has been Thomasville since June of 1957. He attended Thomasville City Schools until his senior year. He was a 1973 graduate of Central High School. He was a member of Ochlocknee Baptist Church. He had been employed by TECT Textron for 18 years. He was married February 14, 1988 to Judy Young. He was the grandson of James W. and Ruth Brinson Donaldson of Grady County, GA and Thomas J. and Ollie Faircloth Clark of Greenville, FL. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert and his grandparents. He is survived by his two sons Michael Tate Donaldson and Robert Robbie Edward Donaldson of Boston, GA., his mother, Betty Donaldson, sister and brother-in-law, Vicki and David Clark, niece, Hannah Clark all of Ochlocknee, GA., stepsons, Donnie Carter of Thomasville, GA., Chuck Carter of Quincy, Fl. Services will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, August 28, 2004 at Ochlocknee Baptist Church and interment is in Sunset Memorial Gardens. His cousin the Rev. Ron McCaskill, his uncle the Rev. Dan Padgett and the Rev. Dennis Norman will officiate. Active pallbearers are Tim Hicks, Ralph Hall, Jr., cousins, Alan Donaldson, Don Charron, Shawn and Heeth McCaskill. Honorary pallbearers are cousins, Tommy and Bill Butler, Bill Donaldson and co-workers from TECT. Memorials may be made to the Mickey Donaldson Memorial Youth Fund or Building Fund, Ochlocknee Baptist Church, 3096 N. Railroad Street. E., Ochlocknee, GA. 31773.
