Memorial services for Rodney Russell Reneau, 66, of Thomasville are at 2 p.m., Thursday, March 25, 2010 at Dawson Street Baptist Church, where he was a member. The Rev. Lee Waller will officiate. Mr. Reneau passed away March 22. Born, Sept. 4, 1943, in Thomasville, he was the son of the late Jack and Edna Singletary Reneau. On Sept. 3, 1990 at Dawson Street Baptist Church, he married Virginia Cook Reneau, who survives. Mr. Reneau worked in the Engineering department at Flowers and also worked for Sunnyland for over 38 years. Survivors include son, Christopher Reneau and wife, Belynda of Thomasville; grandson, Heath Reneau of Thomasville; step-children, Joseph Bengston of Thomasville, Sonya Wills of Thomasville, Cindy Shavers of Columbus, Lydia Grammer of Columbus; 11 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; brother, David Reneau and wife, Sonja of Thomasville; sisters, Elaine Pierce of Thomasville, Peggy Bozeman and husband, Bill of Atlanta and Barbara Jones and husband, Frank of Cairo. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Lewis Hall Oncology Center, 116 Mimosa Drive, Thomasville, GA. 31792. Visitors may sign the online guest register at www.allenfh.com .
