Roger Trent Jackson, Sr.

Services for Roger Jackson, 64, will be Monday, April 1 at 2PM at the Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Glen Hayes and Robin Hickey will officiate. Interment will follow at Little Ochlocknee Cemetery. Mr. Jackson passed away March 30, 2019 at his residence. Born on April 8, 1955, he was the son of the late Oliver Jackson and Maebell Sims Jackson. He was preceded in death by his wife Geraldine Suber Jackson. He worked as a truck driver and enjoyed fishing. He was also a member of the Liberty Baptist Church in Cairo, Georgia. He is survived by his children Roger Trent Jackson, Jr. of Thomasville and Dustin Jackson (Anne Horn) of Metcalfe; grandchildren Macenzie Jackson (Trey Hill), Reed Jackson, Landon Jackson, and Michael Brannon (Alexis Harris); great-grandchildren Kirkland Jackson, Wyatt Brannon, Caden Childers,; brothers, Jimmy Jackson of Thomasville, Harold Jackson of Thomasville, Vernon Jackson of Ochlocknee, and Betty Jean Humphries of Pelham. He was also preceded in death by his brother Lester Artist Jackson. Memorial contributions may be made to Liberty Baptist Church.
