Roger Alvin Lane

Services for Roger A. Lane, 65 of Thomasville will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at Victory Baptist Church. Rev. Gary Holland and Mickey Miller will officiate. Mr. Lane passed away February 23, 2020 at his residence. Born April 1, 1954 in Thomasville, he was the son of the late Bobbie Lane and Gertie Robinson Lane. He married Teresa Johnson Lane on October 8, 1999 in Thomasville. Mr. Lane was a veteran of the United States Army and was retired from Flowers Bakery after 42 years. He attended Victory Baptist Church and loved to laugh with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Teresa Johnson Lane; children, Jen Mobley (Keith), Jody Lane (Ashley), Alisha White; grandchildren, Macey Griner, Klara Lane, Mac Mobley, Laney Mobley, Finton Lane, Raylin White and Abbigail White; brothers, Bobby Lane (Frances) and Charles Lane (Tammy); best friend Randy Johnson and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by parents, sisters, Patsy Mitchell and Carolyn Lane; brothers, Billy Lane, James Lane and Jerry Lane.
