Ronald Jay Croft, 72, of Pavo, Georgia, passed away peacefully on May 23, 2026, surrounded by his family.

Ronald "Jay" Croft was born on September 15, 1953, in Thomas County, Georgia, to the late James Reuben Croft and Elsie (Hunter) Redfearn. He was also preceded in death by his stepfather, Jack Redfearn Sr., and his sister, Kay DeMott.

He was a hardworking man with a kind heart and a deep love for animals. Jay enjoyed life's simple pleasures and was known for his caring nature and love for others. He touched the lives of many during his time and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

A service will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at 4 pm at Allen & Allen Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 3-4 pm prior to the service.
