Services for Ronald Trevor Phinazee, 68, will be conducted at 3:00PM on Sunday, March 15, 2015 at Big Creek Baptist Church, 20267 Highway 319, Coolidge, with Bro. Herb Phinazee and Bro. Al Wilburn officiating. Mr. Phinazee went to be with his Lord and Savior on March 11, 2015, at home. Born on October 17, 1946, he was the devoted son of W.J. “Shortie” and Fleta Honoree Phinazee. Mr. Phinazee was a 1964 graduate of Central High School and a 1967 graduate of Southern Technical Institute. He retired in 2000 from the City of Thomasville from the City Utilities Department after 34 years. He was a devoted member of Big Creek Baptist Church all of his life. Mr. Phinazee is survived by his beloved wife of 36 years, Sandra (Sandy) Strickland Phinazee, his children, Melody Dawn Phinazee Allen, Audra Diane Phinazee, and Brian Christopher Phinazee and wife, Brandi, and eight grandchildren, Jon Coleman Allen, Ronald Dayne Allen, Noel Caden Allen, Laurel Ann Fletcher, Olivia Sage Fletcher, Arabella Grace Fletcher, Michele Adin Stupack and Sterlyn Rayne Phinazee. Additional survivors include Maxine Strickland, mother-in-law, siblings, Donald Phinazee and wife, Frances of Douglas, Jackie Roddenberry and husband, Reggie of Coolidge, Herb Phinazee and wife Sandy of Callahan, Fl. ; in-laws Steve Strickland and wife Barbara, Stan Strickland and wife Sandra, Timothy Strickland and wife Candace, all of Coolidge, Pam Drummond and husband Bob, and Carl Braswell (husband of the late Linda Braswell) of Thomasville, and Roger and wife Linda of Ochlocknee and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation for family and friends will be Saturday, March 14, 2015, 5:00PM until 7:00PM at Allen and Allen Funeral Home Chapel.
