Ronald L Smith Jr

Ronald L Smith Jr, 52, of Ochlocknee, better known as Ronnie, passed away on August 8, 2024. A celebration of life will be held at Allen & Allen Funeral Home on Monday, August 12, 2024 at 2 pm. Ronnie was born on July 18, 1972, in Americus, Georgia, to Ronald L Sr, who survives, and Brenda Smith, who preceded him in death.

Ronnie was a master electrician and a jack of all trades. He was a kind hearted, good friend who loved his family dearly. He loved to sing (off key) and didn't care who was listening. Ronnie was a go-getter and a hard worker, and he was always in a good mood. He was a generous and loving man who will be missed by many.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Joleen Smith, his father, Ronald L. Smith Sr., three adoring daughters - Lauren Prance (Mark), Morgan Vaughan (Matt), and Allison Reyes (Luis) - along with his beloved grandchildren, Aden Prance, Owen Prance, and Lana Vaughan. He is also survived by his siblings Gwen Gonzalez, Thomas Smith, and Clay Smith, his sister-in-law who was like a sister, Nina Gunn, nephew Cody Slusher and many other nieces and nephews.
