Ronald Wayne Gibson

Funeral services for Ronald Wayne Gibson, 76, of Thomasville, will be held at 4:00 pm Tuesday, June 25, 2002 at the First Church of The Nazarene with interment in Sunset Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Bill Hamby will officiate. Mr. Gibson died Friday, June 21, 2002 at the Brian Center. He was born March 21, 1926 in Peoples, Ky. to Luther Gilbert and Fannie Thomas Gilbert both who preceeded him in death. He was employed as a salvage dealer and was a member of The First Church of the Nazarene. Mr. Gibson was married in Valdosta on July 29, 1977 to Linda Hutchinson. Survivors include his wife Linda Hutchinson Gibson of Thomasville, son and daughter-in-law Joseph & Laura Gibson of Moultrie, daughter and son-in-law Terri & Robert Eunice of Thomasville, daughter and son-in-law Kimberly & Ben Hancock of Salina, Ks., son Wendell Scott Kitchens of Hartwick, Ga., sisters Janice Wright and Cora Carter both of Russville, In., Brothers Johnny Gilbert and Bill Gilbert both of Russville, In., Vernon Gilbert and Larry Gilbert both of Indianapolis, In., and Jack Gilbert of San Antonio, Tx. Six Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren. He was preceeded in death by a son Ronald Wayne Gibson, Jr. and a brother Don Gibert.
