Ronnie Jefferson Farmer

Funeral services for Ronnie Jefferson Farmer, 63, of Ochlocknee, will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2015, 11:00 AM, at Barnett’s Creek Baptist Church. Pastor Paul Blough and Michelle Foster will officiate the service. Mr. Farmer passed away March 12, 2015 at his residence. Born June 4, 1951 in Albany, GA, he was the son of the late Charles Farmer and Ann Farmer. He was married to Teena Farmer, who survives. Mr. Farmer was a member of Barnett’s Creek Baptist Church. He was in the United State Marines for 27 years. After retiring from the Marine Corps, Mr Farmer had catch out catfish ponds, a Christmas tree farm and a nursery. He was devoted to Barnetts Creek Baptist Church and loved working with the children. Survivors include daughter Felicia Peirano and husband Nick of Englewood, FL; sons Tim Bennett of Pensacola, FL and Jeffery Farmer and wife Meagan of New York; grandchildren Croix Bennett, Gwen Farmer, and Henry Farmer; sister Karen Pitman and husband Tom of Raleigh, N.C.; brothers Kenneth Farmer and John Farmer and wife Cindy all of Albany; Uncle Bobby Farmer and wife Mary of Thomasville and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by sister Marion Deese. The family will receive friends before the service 10:00 AM until 11:00AM at Barnetts Creek Baptist Church.
