Services for Rosa Rovelia Vick Brinson, 82, of Ochlocknee, are at 11 a.m., Monday, Aug. 31, 2009, at Springhill Christian Church. Pastor Carl Garrison will officiate and interment is in Springhill Christian Church Cemetery. Mrs. Brinson died Aug. 27 at her residence. Born Jan. 13, 1927, in Grady County, she was the daughter of the late William and Eliza Gainous Vick. On July 29, 1944, in Jacksonville, Fla., she married Charles E. Brinson, who preceded her in death. She was a member of Springhill Christian Church and was retired from the State of Georgia. Survivors include sons, Jerry Brinson and Chuck Brinson both of Ochlocknee; daughters, Pam Hunter and husband, Gerald of Ochlocknee, Juanita Parramore and husband, Gary of Largo, Fla. and Vicki Goodson and husband, Ron of Thomasville; grandchildren, Jeffery Brinson, Matt Brinson, Charles Brinson, Victoria Brinson, Mark Upton, Chris Upton, Heather Carrasquilla, Glenn Parramore, Michael Goodson, Rhonda Goodson and Kerianne Johnson; great grandchildren, Kristen Horne, Kaitlyn Brinson, Kassady Brinson, Shelby Brinson, Gracie Brinson, Corey Upton, Emma Upton, Olivia Upton, Riley Upton, Will Upton, Nicholas Carrasquilla, Emily Carrasquilla, Brandon Parramore, Candice Parramore, Calie Parramore, Kallie Johnson and Kayson Johnson; great-great granddaughter, Lilly Horne. She was preceded in death by siblings, Reuben Vick, Ruby Hicks, Rupert Vick and Rossie Harrison. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. ? 4 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home chapel.
