Rosalind Elizabeth (Taylor) Moore, Bluffton, SC
“What a Journey”
In Rosalind’s words “I’ve had a wonderful life. I leave behind a remarkable husband of 56 years, Carroll Eugene (Gene) Moore; daughter Donna Moore Marchand, and the light of my life, granddaughters Devann Marchand and Cassidy Marchand; twin sister Rosemary Taylor Auld (James A); brother Robert Russell Taylor (Caroline P), sister-in-law Cheryll Morey (Michael) also, many wonderful nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by son, Gregory Eugene Moore (Greg) and brother, Donald W. Taylor.”
Rosalind (known to some as Little Bit) was a loving, devoted, loyal wife, mother, daughter, Gama, sister, aunt and friend. She was hard working, fun loving, unfailingly generous, and an animal lover. She enjoyed a game of cards with friends, and a few dozen Apalachicola oysters as often as she could get them. She was her husband’s partner in life and in all his business ventures. Her final moments were spent concerned for his care. Born in Thomasville, GA, she was a 1964 graduate of Thomasville High School.
The family would like to express special thanks to Bridgette Jones, Martha Smith, and Martina Staten who loved and cared for her with such devotion. We will be forever grateful.
Graveside services for Rosalind will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Thomasville, GA, Reverend Paul Ballard, officiating.
