Rosie Marie Burns

Services for Rosie Marie Burns will be held Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at 11 AM at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Climax, GA. Born June 24, 1958, she was the daughter of the late Pedro and Mary Elizabeth Medina. She was married to Alton Paul Burns, who survives, on October 6, 1980. Rosie loved gardening and wildlife. She enjoyed cooking, doing for others, and her dogs, but most of all, she was a caretaker. She is survived by her children Danny Ray Prince of Coolidge, GA, and Misty Fain of Foley, AL; grandchildren Katley Prince and Dayla Flowers; great-grandchild Melody Brown; siblings Mittie Widner (Kenneth) of Climax, GA, Tony Medina (Karen) of Panama City, FL, Luis Medina (Trina) of Sylvester, GA, Cristy Hanks (Brad) of Bainbridge, GA, Trina Boger (Doug) of Bainbridge, GA; and a lot of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother and father; children Windy Elizabeth Prince and Rainey Kathryn Prince; and siblings Pedro Medina, Jr. and Sally Elizabeth Lambert.
