Roy Mediate

Services for Roy David Mediate, 77 of Thomasville Georgia, will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Central Baptist Church of Aucilla with Daryl Adams and LeBron Fairbanks officiating. Mr. Mediate passed away on January 31, 2021. He was born June 15, 1943 in Heileah Florida to the late Dave and Iva Hadley Mediate. He married Yvonne Mediate, who survives him, on December 23, 1962 in Hileah Florida. He was a retired engineer with Florida Power Corporation and he owned Pecan Hill Coffee Roaster. He graduated from Hileah High School before attending Kennesaw State College. He was affiliated with various Nazarene and Baptist Churches. His hobbies included fast cars, accurate guns, and good coffee. He was also an avid reader. He is survived by his children Dave Mediate (Glorianna) of Monticello FL., and Dale Mediate (D.D.) of Thomasville Ga.; 10 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and his sister Mona Mediate Pridemore of Manchester TN. He is predeceased by his brother Glen Mediate of Lawrenceburg TN. In Lieu of flowers the family requests that donations are made to the Central Baptist Church of Aucilla Youth Program at 625 Tindell Rd. Monticello, FL. 32344.
