Roy Richard Gossett

Funeral services for Roy Richard Gossett, 63, of Cochran, Ga will be Friday, March 18, 2011 at 3pm at the chapel of Allen & Allen Funeral Home. Rev. Melvin Sadler and Pastor Kelly Andersonwill officiate and interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Mr. Gossett passed away on March 13, 2011. Born April 30, 1947 in Fayetteville, Ga he was the son of the late James Henry Gossett and Alverna Lea McDearis Gossett. On June 20, 1992 in Jonesboro, Ga, he married Leslie Leigh Carter Gossett who survivors. Mr. Gossett was a veteran of the U.S. Army, and he was a member of the Warner Robbins Pentecostal Holiness Church. Other survivors include step children Mandy Beason of Heflin, Al, Tonya Collett and husband Joseph of Sumter, S.C., Joshua Lyles and wife Chasity of Heflin, Al; brother and sisters Eugene Gossett and wife Gladys of Jonesboro, Ga, Patsy Braswell of Dexter, Ga., Joyce Arrington and husband Robert of Lula, Ga., Annette Peavy and husband George of Albany, Ga., Rendy Henson of Philmont, Ny., Diane Ray of Brunswick, Ga., Dorothy Sadler and husband Melvin of Pelham, Ga., and Joan Rodgers of Pelham, Ga.; Grandchildren Chasity Beason, McCoyden Raper, Payton Collett and Chloe Lyles; And several Nieces and nephews.
