Roy Alvin Smith

Roy Alvin Smith departed earth for Heaven November 9, 2021, after a lengthy debilitating illness. Born May 3, 1936, he was the son of the late Alvin H. Smith and the late Rubye Southerland Smith. Survivors include his sister Margaret Sybil Smith Simmons and husband Frank, of Pensacola, Florida; niece Andrea Simmons Love and husband Brett; nephew Amos A. Simmons and wife Austine Marie, great niece Carly Simmons and great nephew Aidan Simmons, and all of Pensacola, Florida. Graveside service Tuesday, November 16, at 3 pm, New Bethel Cemetery, Lower Meigs Road, Moultrie, Georgia. Arrangements have been entrusted to Allen and Allen Funeral Home, Thomasville, Georgia.
