A funeral mass for Roy Raymond Theobald, 84, of Coolidge will be Wednesday, August 1 at 10:00 AM St Augustine's Catholic Church, where he was a member. Rev. Raymond Levreault will officiate and internment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mr. Theobald died on July 27, 2012 at his residence. Born March 4, 1928 in Cincinnati, OH, he was the son of the late Herman Alfred and Helen Buschle Theobald. He was married to the late Mary Virginia Gansman Theobald. Mr. Theobald was employed as a staff engineer with Interstate Bakeries and Flowers Foods. He was a member of the Rose City Coin Club and enjoyed woodworking, jewelry making, gardening and spending time with his family. Survivors include his sons, Daniel Theobald of Simpsonville, SC, Donald Theobald and wife Connie of Thomasville, David Thomas Theobald and wife Beverly of Coolidge and a daughter Mary Deborah Rosenthal and her husband David of Flower Mound, TX. He is also survived by grandsons, James, R. Theobald, Chris Theobald, Joseph Rosenthal; granddaughters, Dana Mace, Becky Theobald, Chrissy Poole, Hayley Theobald, and Sarah Rosenthal.. Other survivors include great grandchildren, Carly Carson, Kayley Zink, Savannah Mace, Anslie Mace, Ethan Mace and Kelsey Mace. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Kimberly Theobald and a brother, Clyde Theobald. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, P O Box 1201, Albany, GA 30345. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 on Tuesday night at Allen & Allen Funeral Home.
