Services for Ruby America Key Herring of Coolidge, GA are at 2:00PM, Monday, September 5, 2005 at New Bethel Baptist Church where she was a member. The Rev. Jesse Alligood will officiate and interment will be in New Bethel Cemetery. Pallbearers are Wayne Lewis, Larry Alligood, Drew Beverly, Jamie Eubanks, Jearld Presley and James Presley. Mrs. Herring died September 2, 2005 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born February 3, 1914 in Colquitt Co., GA she was the daughter of the late E. D. Cooper and Abbiegail Burnett Cooper. She was married to Aubrey Key who preceded her in death and then to Wayne Herring who preceded her in death. Mrs. Herring was a meat packer for Sunnyland Packing Co. Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Verbie and Lynell NeSmith of Coolidge, Joan and Mike McGuire of Fort Worth, TX, Margaret and Harold King of Coolidge, son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Joess Key of Ft. Worth, TX, daughter, Frances Pearce of Thomasville; grandchildren, Rhonda Stamps, Freedom Pearce, Mellisa Morning, Eric Jackson, Lalena King, Catherine Clingerman, Robert Key, Donna Crosby; twenty two great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. A son, Aubrey Dale Key and grandchildren, Harold Lee King, Jimmy Harris and Sherrie Key McKay, preceded her in death. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2-4PM on Sunday.
