Services for Ruby Hazel Searcy are 3:00 Pm , Friday, October 6, 2006 at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Sherman Hall will officiate. Mrs. Searcy died Oct 4, 2006 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born September 5, 1942, in Boston, GA, she was the daughter of the late Guy Middleton Seago and Ruby Hazel Pestillo, of Jacksonville Beach, FL, who survives. Mrs. Searcy was married to Jimmy Searcy who survives. She was an office manager and bookkeeper for Searcy Heating & Air, and drove a school bus for 10 years for Thomas County Schools. She is also survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Julie & Danny Dukes of Thomasville, sons and daughters-in-law, Jim & Kathy Searcy of Coolidge, and Jerry & Jennifer Searcy of Pavo, and grandchildren Kristen Dukes, Brooke Searcy, Rhett Searcy, Erin Searcy, Jim Searcy, III, Taylor Searcy, Matt Dukes and Ashley Dukes. Memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation of Georgia, 2951 Flowers Rd South., Suite 211, Atlanta, GA, 30341-4146.
