Ruby Lee Carlton Robinson

Services for Ruby Lee Carlton Robinson will be held at 11:00am, Friday, May 9, 2014, at Pavo Baptist Church, where she was a member. The Rev. Tim VanLandingham and the Rev. David Cook will officiate, and interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Robinson passed away May 6 at her residence. Born August 7, 1934, in Coolidge, she was the daughter of the late Eustace Carlton and Evelyn Carlton Norton. She was married to Tommy Robinson who preceded her in death. Ruby was a loving, selfless person who put others before herself. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who gave of herself unconditionally. She is survived by her five daughters, Toni Taylor (Dave) of Douglasville, Sherry Lee Robinson of Brooks County, Patti Chastain of Panama City Beach, FL, Lisa Robinson of Pensacola, FL and Tina Griner of Thomasville; grandchildren, Christopher Rehberg (Stephanie), Ashley Chastain Barrow (Jason), Kelly Sanders, Stephanie Taylor, Terry James Chastain, Jr., Amber Griner and Will Griner; great-grandchildren, Wyatt Rehberg, Savannah Barrow and Sydney Barrow; brother, Doyle Carlton (Sybil) of Norman Park and numerous nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Reid Carlton, Horace Carlton and Gene Carlton. The family will greet friends 6-8 pm, Thursday, May 8 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel.
