Services for Ruby Yarbrough Bruner of Prattville, AL., are at 2:00PM on Wednesday, May 26, 2004 at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Leon Van Landingham and the Rev. Steve McInnis will officiate and interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Bruner died May 23, 2004. Born May 10, 1916 in Boston, GA she was the daughter of Samuel Thomas and Mary Ella Williams Yarbrough. She was married to H. W. Spec Gibson who preceded her in death, then to William Bruner who also preceded her in death. Mrs. Bruner was a retired Sr. Health Service Technician at Southwestern State Hospital. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Mary Beth and Jack Moyer of Prattville, AL, grandchildren, Phyllis Burroughs of Jacksonville, Marsha Burroughs of Ft. Walter Beach, FL, Sherry Vinson of Jacksonville, FL, Michelle and Davis Cochran of Dothan, AL, Michael and Ashley Moyer of Millbrook, AL, great grandchildren, Sonya Yvonne Moyer of Prattville, AL, Mirah of Jacksonville, FL, Ryan Cochran of Dothan, AL, Jonathan Alixzander Moyer and Patrick Gavin Moyer of Millbrook, AL. She was preceded in death by daughter and son-in-law, Yvonne and Wyburn Burroughs, great grandchildren, David Tyler Cochran, Aaron Riley Cochran. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Trinity UM Church, 610 Fairview Ave., Prattville, AL 36066 in memory of Ruby Bruner to be assigned toward the Church Building Fund.
