Rufus Virgil Roberds

Rufus Virgil Roberds passed away on April 20, 2020. He was born on May 9, 1925, in Carrollton to the late Seaborn Roberds and to the late Nancy Cantrell. He was married to Ida Rebecca Roberds for 72 years. Rufus was a member of Gatlin Creek Baptist Church. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, and wood working. He retired from Flowers Bakery. Survivors include his children, Bobby Gunter (Linda) of Thomasville, Sandra Morris (Jerry) of Thomasville, Mary Morris (Mike), of Thomasville, Wanda Britt (Ray) of Elizabethtown, NC; Jason Morris (Cindy), Blake Gunter (Haven), Evan Britt (Cristan), Tyler Britt (Molly), Heath Britt, Shane Morris (Ashley),9 great-grandchildren, and a beloved caretaker, Shelena Moore.
