Sally Gasper Mathis

Sally Anderson Gasper Mathis, 80, of Cairo passed away June 27, 2020 at Archbold Hospital. Born March 8, 1940 in Cleveland OH., she was the daughter of the late LaVerne W. Anderson and Leda Picard Anderson. She was married to James L. Mathis, who survives. She worked for Sweetwater Country Club in Orlando Florida as assistant to the general manager and Ocean Center in Daytona Beach Florida as an event coordinator. She loved gardening, bird watching her pets and reading. She is survived by her husband; children, Kristen Henderson, Teresa Persing and husband Gregg, all of Pelham and Whitney Mathis and wife Kelly of Winter Garden, Fl; grandchildren, Lauren Godwin and husband Chris, Ryan Edwards, Stephen Edwards, Chad Persing and wife Stacie, Sarah Joyner, Warren Persing and wife Sara, Kyle Persing, Ava Mathis, Tim Mathis and Ryan Mathis and 12 great-grandchildren.
