Sam Bufford

Clarence (Sam) Bufford, of Thomasville, passed away on December 19, 2024, at the age of 86. Sam was born on June 25, 1938, to Charlie Thomas and Ruby Estelle Hasty Bufford. He served in the US Navy for 11 years and was an employee at Lewis Enterprises for many years. Sam had a big personality and loved his family and friends.

Sam is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Patsy Bufford, and their children Donna Lynn Barnes of Leesburg and Donna Lynn Hatcher of Tallahassee, as well as grandchildren Joshua Barnes, Brandon Barnes, Danielle Blaylock, Hannah Hatcher, Brea Burget, Leo Burget and Dillion Tole. Additionally, Sam is survived by his beloved great-grandchildren, Koheed Rivero, Zane Blaylock, and Kaylee Whigham, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at Allen and Allen Funeral Home Chapel from 4-6 pm. Services will be held on Sunday, December 22, 2024, at Allen and Allen Funeral Home Chapel at 2 pm with Reverend David Cook officiating.
