Samuel Byron Smith

Samuel Byron Smith, 79, of Cairo passed away on March 27, 2013 at Grady General Hospital. Born June 21, 1933, he was the son of the late Byron Otis and Violet Beatrice Goslin Smith. He was married to Blanche Deniece Smith, who survives. Other survivors include children Sharon Elizabeth Ansin of Gainesville, Fla., James David Smith of Chattahoochee, Fla., Veronica Suzanne Morey of Thomasville, twins Jeffery Ellis Smith of Las Vegas, NV and Donna Louise Stevens of New Bedford, Mass.; grandchildren Chris Ansin, Tom Ansin, Elliot Ansin, Adam Smith, James Smith, Brian Morey, Kristin Morey, Harold Stevens, Laura Stevens, Matthew S. Smith, Brittany Smith, Jeff Smith and numerous great grandchildren; sisters Charlotte Francis of Holiday, Fla., Harriet Nunes of Somerset, Mass., Lillian McLaughlin of Dighton, Mass.; brother David Smith of St. Petersburg, Fla.
