Samuel Goode Mobley

Samuel Goode Mobley, age 70, born April 1, 1933 in Pelham, Georgia. His parent were Margaret N. Mobley and Dr. John W. Mobley. He attended grade school in Pleham, Georgia and high school at the Brown School in Antonio, Texas. Mr. Mobley served in the United States Navy for a short time and held various jobs in construction and agriculture. He was an ardent member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church helping in Christmas functions and other volunteer activities. Mr. Mobley is survived by two older brothers: John W. Mobley, III of Tallahassee, Florida and Gwinn Nixon Mobley of Thomasville, Georgia. Services will be held at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Thomasville, Georgia at 2:00PM, Saturday, July 19, 2003. Father Charles Bennett will officiate. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, Inc. P.O. Box 1201, Albany, GA 31702.
