Shari Lou Craine

Services for Shari Lou Craine, age 61, of Canton, Ga will be held Saturday, February 19, 2022, at 1:00 PM, at Barnetts Creek Baptist Church in Ochlocknee, Ga. A visitation will be held in the fellowship hall an hour prior to her service. Honorary pallbearer are Jeff Dexter. Ms. Craine was born on November 23, 1960, to Richard T. Craine and Ilene Reneau Coffield, in San Antonio, Texas. Growing up, Shari attended Cross Keys High School of Atlanta, Ga. She went on to graduate high school and earned some college credits as well. Shari worked for Core and Main Inc. where she led their inside sales. Shari was also a member of Barnetts Creek Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading books, listening to music, and collecting Christmas ornaments in her spare time. Shari also had a great love for dogs, and she was called "Mom" by several rescues. If Shari went without a dog, customers would bring her one. Her present dog, Sunny, was found on a construction site, scared to death by the machinery. Shari also rescued people. If you needed a place to stay for a while, Shari always had a bed and food. She is survived by her parents, Richard T. Craine (Diane) and Ilene R. Coffield; brother Dr. Richard T. Craine II (Teresa) of Monroe, Ga; half brother Brett T. Craine (Courtney) of McCaysville, Ga; half sister Becky C. Howard (Trey) of Forsyth, Ga; nieces Courtney C. Matthews (Patrick) of Monroe, Ga, and Ciera E. Craine of Monroe, Ga; great niece Mia Nicole Matthews of Monroe, Ga; and her uncle Robert L, Reneau (Magola) of San Juan, Puerto Rico. Shari was preceded in death by her sister Renee D. Craine; her maternal grandparents Eric and Lillian Reneau; stepfather C. Carson Coffield; and paternal grandparents Tom and Bea Craine.
