Sharlene Johns Steadman

Services for Dorothy Sharlene Johns Steadman, 53 of Ochlocknee will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, May 8 at Victory Fellowship Church, where she was a member. Rev. Larry Nunnally and Rev. Ann Nunnally will officiate and interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Steadman passed away May 4, 2014 at Archbold Hospital. Born January 3, 1961 in Thomasville, she was the daughter of the late John Johns and Joyce Brinson Johns. She was married to Jerry Steadman who survives. Sharlene was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and a friend to all. She was very devoted to her church and was a wonderful Christian woman whose personal message was that God loved everyone and forgiveness should be given to everyone. Other survivors include her children, Amanda Haire (Matt), Ashley Sheffield (Donnie) all of Thomasville, James David Smith, II of Madison, Fl; step-son, Ashton Koller of Ochlocknee; grandchildren, Presley Sheffield and Kelsey Sheffield; sister, Lisa Lane of Thomasville and many other close family and friends. An account has been set up at Suntrust Bank to assist the family. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm, Wednesday at Allen & Allen Funeral Home.
